My name is Teagan Dinslage.
I am a graduate student studying speech-language pathology.
I have been married to my husband, Scott, for three years. We are the “parents” of an adorable rescued mutt named Rudy.
I grew up in a rural, German community in Minnesota that values families and faith. Gatherings always involved food (hot dishes & jello salads) and games (dominoes & cribbage). Despite being blessed with a tall frame, I was never interested (or coordinated enough to be interested) in playing basketball. Amongst other things, in my current studies I am particularly drawn to the subjects of speech science, phonetics, and dialects, and how these influence therapy. On this trip I hope to observe and learn from the communication that occurs within and between different cultures, as well as broaden my understanding of Indian history and culture in particular.
